Whether it's AX64 or Paragon, I have to give permission to open them. Not that it's an inconvenience but perhaps a "slight" annoyance. Is there a method/setting, other than overall control GUI, to always give an application permission? Thank you!

Are you using an admin account or standard account?

Thank you for the replies! I'm going to image :) and try the suggestions out. The first is for Vista so it may not help on W7, although I use Norton A-V so perhaps there is something there to look for. It's an administration account, indeed, I had tried "Run as administrator" a long time ago but that didn't make any difference. From a practical standpoint the "click" total would have been the same even if it did.

Ratchet, as already has been said, there's no "ofishul" way to turn off UAC on an application basis, whether ADMIN or not... there are only "workarounds."

But I believe some will work for you...
