USB not recognised: disable legacy

    On some laptop computers, at least, a USB2 hard disc is recognised only if "legacy USB devices" (for USB keyboard and mouse to be available from DOS) is disabled. If you have a bootable CD-ROM, no need to install anything: boot from CD, check whether USB drive is visible.
