I have a Sony USB CD-R/W Drive. In My computer it is listed yet when I try to "Create Bootable Rescue Media" using FULL VERSION or SAFE VERSION the drive is not listed, only the A:. If I open Nero I have no problems burning to the usb drive.
Thanks ahead of time for helping

    Hi,

Your wording is slightly ambiguous because it reads as if you're attempting to create a boot rescue CD after booting from either the full version or safe version of the bootable rescue media. This can't be done when TI is running in the (Linux based) rescue environment.

Therefore, I take it you're unable to create either a "Full" or "Safe" version of a boot rescue CD whilst TI is running in Windows mode because it doesn't list your external USB drive? If so then that's most odd. If the CD-R/RW drive is listed under My Computer or in Windows Explorer then there is no reason I can think of why TI doesn't also list it.

    Regards

    Hello spunkyvision,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

Could you please download, unpack and install one of the following files (according to the version you use)?

    http://www.acronis.com/files/support/TrueImage8.0_cdlog_s_en.zip (Acronis True Image 8.0)
http://www.acronis.com/files/support/TrueImageServer8.0_cdlog_s_en.zip (Acronis True Image 8.0 Server)

After this please run the program, reproduce the problem (get to the screen where only your floppy drive is shown) and send the cdrecord.log file created in the \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\CDRecord folder to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread.

    Thank you.
