I currently have McAfee SiteAdvisor Free and LinkScanner Pro installed on my PC's. Since SiteAdvisor does not work with Sanboxie and I like having two functioning link scanners, I am looking for a replacement for SiteAdvisor. Under consideration are:

    1. Finjan's SecureBrowsing
    2. Trendmicro TrendProtect
    3. BrowserDefender

Does anyone have any experience with conflicts of any of the above with either Sandboxie or LinkScanner Pro? Which of the above do you use and like?

I am leaning toward SecureBrowsing because their product description seems impressive.

    Thank you.

WOT (Web of Trust) is great. You can have it set to block sites that have ratings of yellow (Cautious), orange (Warning) and Red (Danger!!!!). You can get it for Firefox and IE. :) Sadly not for Opera yet :( I use this now. :)

I'm using SiteHound, and it works like a charm.
Blocks malware sites automatically. Give it a try.

What is this problem you speak of? I've been using Finjan and SiteAdvisor with IE7 on Vista for 8 months now with no problems.

The problem I have is that there is some issue with releasing memory in IE. If I open several IE pages the memory remains high even when I close the pages. Noticed that using Process Explorer.

Not that I know of. Well you can just hide to toolbar by right clicking it un checking it. WSG will still work but the toolbar will be hidden.
