I have put in a support ticket for this, but have not heard back from ESET. So I was hoping someone here may be able to help.

I have received over a thousand emails with the following error message:
7/3/2007 10:19:46 AM - During execution of Update on the computer COMPUTERNAME, the following warning occurred: Update attempt failed (Incorrect server response.)

with the only difference being the date and ComputerName. This all started after I rebooted my RA server this morning. We have about 100 computers running Nod32. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Thanks,
    -John

I am also seeing this error message on the RA server's event log:

    Time Module Event User
7/3/2007 8:50:13 AM Mirror Error occurred while starting HTTP server.

OK, I finally got through on the phone w/ tech support and determined that another process was listening on port 8081, the same port as the lan update server. After disabling this other service and then rebooting all is well with NOD32.

you do realize that according to ESET's website that free tech support is available from Mon. - Fri. from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm PST? (http://www.eset.com/support/index.php)

What time did you contact them?

Perhaps TCPView from sysinternals (now microsoft) would help?

Or you can just go into the Mirror > Setup > Advanced and change the port number.
