    Hallo!

At first, sorry for my bad english - I´m from germany.

    I´ve bought TrueImage 11 in July, 2008.
Is there a chance, to upgrade from Version 11 to Version 2009 for free?

What do i have to do?

    Greetings from Germany

    Welcome to the forum ;)

No, there is no upgrade from Ti11 to Ti2009 for free.

    1. are there functionalities you are missing under Ti11?
    2. doesn't work Ti11 properly for you?

The onliest way is to open an issue at Acronis (after registration on Acronis homepage) where you explain your discontent with Ti11 with the intention to upgrade to Ti2009.
Perhaps you get an offer for Ti2009 from Acronis...
    (But probably not)

    Thanx for reply!

Version 11 works perfect, but i´ve been missing the new function to save the data while restarting the system in the Secure-Zone.

For this you can create a task in Ti11.
Create task with a starttime 3.00h AM. There is an option (I don't remember the name) you can tick on that the task get running when it could not execute in the night but then on PC start.

    Is that what you want?

I think newbie123 was thinking about the Try & Decide feature in the post.

    Hello newbie123 and MrMorse,

Thank you very much for choosing Acronis Home Products

Newbie123, basically there is a free upgrade path from 11 version to Acronis True Image Home 2009 but unfortunately it is not applicable in your case. We provide free upgrade to a new version only in case you have purchased an instant download of the previous version of the product within 30 days before the new version release or a physical box with the previous version from an authorized retail store either within 30 days before the new version release or at any time after.

    Best regards,
    Vladimir Lyapunov

I purchased TI 11 from Newegg this month. Under my Account it shows I can upgrade to 2009 for $29.99. How do I get the free upgrade?

Just got off of Live Chat with Stan and he provided a link and S/N to 2009. Thanks Acronis.
