Any one else having trouble installing the trial version of nod32 downloaded from http://www.eset.com/download/index.php
It gives an error of "Unexpected end of archive" when I try to install it.

Curious: The registered site (both servers) seems to have corrupt copies of 2.7. Tried to open it in WinRAR: The file "? ? ?" header is corrupt.

looks like they have now removed the 2.7 trial version from download.
It now has version 2.5 if you re-download it.

Good find, since the News section linked to the support FAQ for more information about 2.7, and that FAQ had absolutely nothing to say about 2.7. Between that and corrupt copies of 2.7, I think Eset was trying to get home early for the weekend.

Could we please verify the MD5 checksum ?

For XP, after just having downloaded it (licenced user):
The file ndntenst.exe has the following Checksum(s)
    MD5 - 07B2A0D953200A6AECF84B4357A8A03F

Downloaded the file 3 more time but still WinRAR says file headeer is corrupt. I have already installed before I knew this and have not noticed any problems. But, should it be this way with that WinRAR error when opening this installer file? Thanks.

Installed 2.7 Final over 2.7 beta:Can I leave it this way?

Have installed the 2.7 gold over the 2.7 beta. Am pleased to see that it retained all the settings which saved alot of work for me. However, I am now wondering if I should have first uninstalled the beta before installing the gold.

Anyone one with a definitive answer on this? I don't want to have any undesired beta remnants in the mix.

    Thanks.

EDIT: Found the following advice that Agoretsky posted so I uninstalled the beta and manually made my settings match what I had before. Was a bit tedious but I now have the peace of mind.

You do not need to download the release candidate if you do not wish to, however, it is strongly recommended you uninstall the beta test version before upgrading to the production version when it is released.- agoretsky
