updating to smart security 4.2.35.0

    i have a 2 year 2x pc subscription to smart security 4 upgraded to the latest version on my pc with no probs but when i tryed to upgrade to 4.2.35.0 from 4.0.474.0 on my moms pc it asked for password and username which i entered downloaded the latest version ok but when came to install error message came up saying coud/nt install try again so i did this a few times but still same error message so i pressed cancel and it reverted back to 4.0.474.0 only difference is my pc is 64 bit win 7 mothers is 32 bit xp i did download the 32 bit on for my mothers pc any ideas ?
