Just installed gss on windows 2000 pro sp4. Installation went fine, i then updated it to v1.110 which went fine. However now gss keeps teling me that there are updates available even tho once i've updated it, its still the same v1.110 and it keeps telling me updates are available.

Any suggestions? Has gss updated correctly? Should i just turn auto updates off?

There's another thread, but a year old, and the conclusion is to turn off auto-updates, since Jason isn't issuing any. Keep checking here for an announcement of at least a Beta, or wait for an RCx, or final.

Ok cool, i'll turn auto update off, i was mainly concerned that gss may not have updated properly but it appears to be running fine so i'm happy.

I thought maybe windows 2000 might have been playing up so i did a fresh install but ended up getting the same problem.
I'll give jasons idea a go and see what happens.

Been there, done that, it didn't work. Period. But good luck with your try.
