Updates

A question please

A friend of mine recently had her computer updated to NOD v4 automatically
My computer has NOD v3 and I would like to update, but I cant find anywhere in the NOD Program Window that updates the actual program (not just the signature files)

Where is it ?
Why did her computer update automatically, but mine did not ?

You cannot automatically update between two different versions.
You should uninstall version 3 prior to installing version 4. Version 4 can be downloaded here: http://www.eset.com/download

I think she must have had version 4 already installed in that case

So it would seem that there is NO notification of when a new version of the NOD Program is available

This seems very odd to me
Surely Eset should provide some mechanism to notify customers when a new version of the program is available

Is there any reason why Eset dont do this ?
