    Hi

    I am trying to enable AVGAS updates for my young daughter's computer that has parental controls. Currently AVGAS cannot update as I need to specificallly allow each URL or IP address. Please can someone give me the URL that AVGAS needs to access for updates?

    Thanks Quest & HiTech

    I just tried adding *.ewido.net to my allowed ISA server settings & AVGas was able to auto update. It appears that the auto update servers are in that domain. :cool:

    The update servers used by AVG Anti-Spyware are as follows, please allow
    them on your ISA server/content watch application to make sure update
    works properly.

    update.ewido.net = updateas.grisoft.com (195.39.83.41)

    updateasinfo.grisoft.com (195.39.83.42)

    or use *.grisoft.com

    Thank you for your reply Ondrej.

    I had already allowed *.grisoft.com & adding *.ewido.net allowed the client to update. I noted from ISA monitoring that there were also attempts to access *.ewido.com from the client, so I also allowed that domain. Everything is now working satisfactorily.
