Updates not Available?

Hello,
Recently downloaded the trial version of NOD32 v2.5 from download.com and installed it. After installing, I ran a detailed scan which found no viruses and then a manual update after which NOD32 updated its virus signature database to version 1.1859 (2006110. But after that, NOD32 hasn't updated itself. The last update date is Nov 9, 2006. Even if I do try to do a manual update, it seems to connect and then disconnect from the NOD32 server without displaying any message.

Has no update been released since then or is something else wrong? Please advice.

There has been a new update, in which a new version numbering system has been made to the defs. Because of this, the new update is rather big (you have to download the whole defs over again through the update), and the registered users get top priority. Just have some patience and you will get the 1860+1861 updates too.

 

Thanks for that info. One more doubt - Are NOD32 update files available for download separately to manually install them or can they only be downloaded through NOD32?

i waited for 3 days, still can't update from 1859. I tried all servers already.
