    I have ESET NOD32 3.0.672 installed.
I want to be able to do a manual update with my keyboard.
    I dont have MOUSE.
so is there some keys (hot keys, short keys) to do a manual update?

If you're not using a mouse, you should be able to invoke the system tray context menu somehow by keyboard. There's a shortcut to the update option.

If you are XP you can press ctrl+win+tab three times which should shift the cursor focus from the start menu to the taskbar and then to the system tray. You can then use the right and left arrows to highlight the nod32 icon and then press ctrl+space to bring up the alternative context menu for nod32 and select update.

This won't work on Vista if the Flip3d stuff is enabled because it takes over the ctrl+win+tab keystroke.

Might be a little bit offtopic: Why not get a mouse? It's not like theyre expensive. You can always install a Keyboard Mouse Emulator so you can emulate the mouse with buttons on your keyboard.

    Hello,

I believe if you can simulate a right mouse button click on the ESET NOD32 Antivirus icon in the System Notification Area of the Taskbar that you can select the Update option from the resulting popup context menu using the cursor keys and press the Enter key to select it.

    Regards,
