Please post any findings to that file iun6002.exe . I had some suspicion on that file when i noticed it after a web intrusion attempt back in December.

All the best Ewido. Absolutely thrilled with this Program. Very efficient.

I did some looking on this-apparently this started up in 2004.

It appears that Symantec has it still listed as spyware

    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyware.dsktopsurveil.html

They list it as being in 3 products-wiretap,shopnav & desktop surveillance. These appear to be added in 2004.

A search at pest patrol shows it in ZipitPro. This appears to be added 2/20/06.

On the other hand, IndigoRose says it is part of their uninstaller that comes with their installation creation tool, Setup Factory, and if a program uses that tool as part of their installation process, it will be there, but only as part of the uninstaller process.

Very true and We have had a few False positve type threads in regards to other malware programs finding this file. Sending the suspect file to the Ewido guys will definetly help or right click the file and check it's properties. Could be it will assist in determing if it belongs to a legit un-installer.

    Ad-Aware + SUF60Runtime/iun6002.exe - FYI
