One simple question. The last mont my location is Minneapolis , MN(USA) and I observe that the updates come with many delays. Before coming here my location was in Italy and all updates were coming immediatelly. Today I haven't received yet the last update (2419). Does anyone has observed the latter behavior? Do you know if the last update definition is too big or if there is a problem with the servers here in USA.

    Thanks a lot

I haven't gotten it yet as well. I've tried manual update, but it just says the version number is up-to-date. It'll probably be available in a matter of minutes... or hours (hopefully not).

If you have set your Update setup to "Choose automatically" you'll use all servers , not only those based in the USA .

I haven't observed such a behaviour . NOD32 is by defaut set to check for new updates on every hour . The latest update is bigger than normal , if you still don't have it , just try to press the "Update now" button a few times

It's already available , I just got updated a few computers , all without any problem . Just press "Update now" a few more times - this should help , servers seems to be over . Also note that if you run trial version you are with lower priority on update servers and in case of bigger update(s) you'll get it later

That's probably why I haven't received it yet then. :D

I cannot update yet at 2419. What is going on? How big is this update?

If you use trial version , you should wait some hours probably .

If you use full paid version , just press Update now button a few times , NOD32 will find a free server and will update , there is nothing to worry about :thumb:

My NOD32 even just updated to 2420 , by the way

    Just servers are too buggy...
few hours ago I used nod32 update viewer to check them
and saw that - half servers has been updated to latest definitions and
other half was with definitions of yesterday ;)

    This program
    - is not legal Eset application
    - is not recommended
    - shows incorrect information
    - can possibly steal your NOD32 UN/PW ( I also regularly see it in pack with NOD cracks)

Probably all that is true except for "shows incorrect information"
I've been using it for year now and I can guarantee this update viewer
always shows correct information about servers definitions ;)

No . It uses your UN/PW to connect to servers and attempt to update . If the particualr server replies "No update necessary" , then program thinks no new updates on the server . However the server may still reply that no update is needed not only because there are no newer updates on it but because of overload or or other connectivity reasons ...

Actually it is not using un/pw for checking and literally this program thinks
nothing just shows date, build and version of available signatures :)
