update via ecls command line

    Hi there,

    any ideas if it's possible to update the ESET scanner and virus databases with ecls.exe parameters or a separate command line tool? It would be ok also to download with an FTP client (wget) und unzip in a batch file. But I didn't find any download location for standalone updates.

    No, it's not possible. Ecls uses modules downloaded through the EAV/ESS UI.
