    Thanks for posting the update.
Will be installing it as Thunderbird has been a pleasant surprise for me.

Thunderbird 3 has been a source of problems for me, both 3.0.1 and 3.0.2. When running through the GUI the screens often freeze for a while. Sometimes the x will not close TB, and I have to go to file/exit to get out. And I find UC and LC reversed when editing. Have run through lots of virus checkers, found nothing. Have been unable to identify whatever the source of contention is in my system, and GUI issues continue. TB 2.0.0.23, OTOH, continues to work flawlessly so I have returned to it. Anyone else seeing strange behavior with TB3?-configuration is in my signature.

Yes, I have gone the virus checker route too. I don't know just what is causing the lag. It may just sort it self out in time, in the mean time I just have to put up with it I guess.

Thank you Ronjor. I got one hit at Broadband Reports from someone who had gone back to 2.0.0.23, but hoped that a new update might have a fix.

Thunderbird 3 was a big rewrite of the program and I personally suspect it will take several versions to get it completely right for the majority of users.
