update PG3.0_beta1 -> FINAL

not entirely clear to me whehter I need to fully uninstall PG 3.0_beta1 in order to install FINAL. the instructions posted earlier today talk in terms of "older versions" but not entirely clear to me if a 3.0_beta is an older version. if best to uninstall beta1 I will. can I save protection / security settings from beta1 and if so how?
ps beta1 ran so good on my w2k after 2.0 not running at all, I let well enough alone and continued with beta1 until I DL'd the FINAL today. thanks!

 

Hi poogimmal, I would remove the beta completely and start again, also remove your pghash & pguard.dat files from the system32 folder.
Re-install and follow the help file instruction re. learning mode.
