    Wow, a lot of my programs are updating today.. That along with Patch Tuesday.

    any word on memory usage with this update?? they keep saying they are reducing it but i have not seen it yet

    Still very high on default automatic. This time it's limited to 1023.6 MB at peak (25% of my RAM).

    You can also specify how much memory in megabytes now.

    yeah i know you can specify the amount but if i cut it way down then it runs so slow with large files its crazy

    It doesn't slow down for me on a 21 MB file. How much have memory you set, and what's the size of your large file?
