    Release Note: v.5.5.2 (Jan 26, 2012) updates:
    Disk Image 5.2.5; KillDisk 5.5.5

Downloaded and created my boot disc with no issues. (Haven't created an image yet.) Not sure why Disk Image 5.2.5 was mentioned. It was that version last update.

Why isn't 5.5.2 mentioned or available for download at the Active@Disk Image web site?

Lsoft seems to market it in as many ways as they can. It's on several web pages...

And unfortunately the Release notes never describe the most recent version. At least that's what I've noticed over the last two years.

5.5.1 was released on Jan 10. Maybe it had a problem as 5.5.2 was released 17 days later.

yes they seem to have the info for their software spread across many domains which is bad move if you ask me.

they also seem to not update changelogs for very minor updates. so to clarify, the only change in the latest version of active@ boot disk was a minor update for the killdisk component.

    Tree,

Their changelogs are always one version behind time. I'd expect to see the changelog for 5.5.2 when the next version is released.

Odd...never used this tool myself but I am interested in it...strange that the change log would be behind a rev.

I guess if you have questions, you will answer the question yourself by reading the now old changelog. ;)

hi Brian, what i think happens is that they dont update the changelog for very minor updates and the minor updates are updated after the next changelog, for major updates they update the changelogs pretty quick

    Tree,

I think you are correct and it is a strange practice. They do eventually release the changelog but it is always one version late.

Generally, its updates are always minor fixes and software version updates.
