    Greetings,

I just aborted an 8 meg update, concerned it might be NOD v3. So what is it?

You haven't just done a fresh install of v2 have you? I believe the updates on a new install are around 8mb at the moment.

Thanks for the reply, but no fresh install. Still unknown what is updated.

It was a huge update indeed. After installation I had the latest version, 2762, installed.

    Stijnson,

Thanks for the reply. I took the update and am still v2.7. Am surprised no one else questioned the size.

I have just questioned the size in the ESS forum (it surprised me to and I could only get it by manually updating. At first NOD stated that I was up-to-date, although I was running version 2759 at that time), because there Marcos states that regular updaters should have only received a small file.

MichaelJH: Did you get the update automatically or manually?

It tried to auto-update, but I aborted (repeatedly).

When I decided to take the update, it first indicated I was current, then I manually updated.

To put it right, I said that EAV/ESS users, who update the program on a regular basis, will never receive a huge update. These large updates will occur from time to time for v2 users.
