unusual MBR sector error

    When running NOD32 i receive message " Error occurred while scanning MBR sector of the 2. physical disk. Error reading sector"
    I only have one hard disk and no virus threats are picked up. (I did have one -Win32/ Adware.Sidesearch application but this was removed by EWIDO).
    MBR message still appears however.
    I recently installed Zone Alarm free edition, perhaps this has something to do with my problem.
    Has anyone got any thoughts on this please?

    Thanks for the prompt reply Seven7. I had a look at the thread and I too have installed a small MFC with a card reader included recently. I turned it off and bingo, the antivirus message disappeared. Thanks heaps, you're a genius!
