Unknown application in System Configuration Utility

I was having trouble opening up Internet Explorer earlier and double-checked Startup Services in the System Configuration Utility. Does anyone have an idea what Afdnpis could be? The application is marked "unknown"; there is no path and no description inside "Properties". Even though it is set to "manual" and is marked "stopped" I would like to know what it is in the first place. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum; didn't know where to pose the question.
