    Hello,

I restored succesfuly an image (windows server 2003) to a Hp Proliant DL360 G5 with universal restore (image created on a proliant G4). The system is working fine, and all drivers were restored.
But, the OS freeze at shutdown or reboot (gray screen), just before the server gets powered off.

I also noticed that the power button, when pressed shortly with the server and OS ON, do not shutdow the OS anymore ...

It seems that the OS can't "talk" with the server hardware (power off ...).

Any idea ? I thought of a ACPI problem, but the restored HAL seemed correct (ACPI Multiprocessor PC), and except this problem, the restored system is working fine ...

It is realy problematic, as the system freeze at each reboot !

    Thanks for your help,
    Guillaume

    Hello Guillaume,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Corporate Products!

First you should check your power settings in BIOS. Is ACPI switched on there?

Also you can do Windows installation Repair, it should resolve this problem.

    Thank you.
