    Hi,

I'm trying to install Universal Resotre with my purchased Acronis True Image 9.1 Build 3,633 but it won't install. This is a fresh installation.

I also tried to follow some directions from https://www.wilderssecurity.com/archive/index.php/t-132065.html, thanks mustang, but still i'm not able to get it installed.

    One more thing Mustang, I don't have (media_full_omni.config and media_safe_omni.config) files on C:\Program Files\Acronis\TrueImageWorkstation not do I have anywhere on C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\TrueImageWorkstation.

I wonder if anyone has a solution for this :mad:Acronis:mad: bug.

    Hi cmpnetman,

The instructions I gave only applied to situations were the original Universal Restore was installed and then a new version of TI9 was installed. If UR was never installed, you would not see the files mentioned. It sounds like you do not have the latest UR install file. You are getting the exact same symptom we all got if we tried to install an older version of UR with build 3633 after doing an uninstall of UR.

I just redownloaded the latest version of Universal Restore from the "Registered Products" section of the Acronis website. The MD5 chechsum is 610290156274A779C4721D703B8A89A7. Make sure you have the same file. There should be no problem installing it with build 3633.

    Hello cmpnetman,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Workstation Disk Backup Software.

Please re-download latest build of Acronis Universal Restore that available on our web site in the list of your registered products. Please check that MD5 summ is the same as mustang said: 610290156274a779c4721d703b8a89a7. You can check MD5 summ by means of checksum utility.

If the issue persists, please submit a request for technical support. Attach the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

Please note that 610290156274a779c4721d703b8a89a7 checksum is for Acronis Universal Restore for Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation.

The correct MD5 for Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server (build 3633) is 294f6d881a95031d0b090ef0fb2677c3 and MD5 for Acronis Universal Restore for Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server is 15449c969522738213066be1a3b63f37.

So if you are using any download manager, internet download/connection booster, etc. please disable it and retry to download Acronis Universal Restore installation file.

Please let us know your results.

    Thank you.
