Uninstalling R-Firewall

    I uninstalled the R-tool firewall but the security center windows xp service pace 2 still shows it still on. how do i remove the firewall without reformatting, any ideas?

    proberbly when you load up another firewall it will take the place of R-tool firewall in the windows security centre

    Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > right click 'Windows Management Instrumentation' and select stop > delete 'repository' folder in C:\windows\system32\wbem > restart 'Windows Management Instrumentation' > reboot.

    Thank you, it worked. :) What does the repository folder do anyway?
