Uninstalling 3.5

Well I decided to uninstal 3.5 as the 4.0 Beta is performing well. I had to locate the uninstal exe in the 3.5 program folder, but the uninstal went well seemingly. However the 4.0 entries disappeared from the Start menu and the 'add/remove programs' and desktop shortcut vanished. Anyone know why? The 4.0 folder still exists okay in Programs (including an uninstal exe if needed later) and the program itself seems to be functioning normally.

 

I don't see it reported in Bugzilla beta reporting but it needs addressing

You may want to enter it in the beta reporting bugzilla web page and wait for the tech's to reply
or - consider doing this
1.Download 4.0 again on top of your current program
2.restart PC
3.Stop the software in the tray near the PC clock ,then remove 4.0 from the XP Control panel add/remove icon
4.restart PC
5. Download 4.0
6. restart to finish
