uninstall

    I have just uninstalled v2.6 & installed 3.0, but I did not unprotect first, everything seems to be working ok, but I have just read that one should unprotect before uninstalling. Did I mess-upo_O??

    No you didn't mess up, be sure there is a check for "Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, dialers, etc." feature which should checkmark/activate the new additions.

    i know this is a DUMB question...but how do you un-install the 2.6.1 versiono_O? i can't find it in my add/remove program list in my control panel...i can only see it in my list of programs & i may not know much (if anything about computerS) but i do know deleting into the recycle bin is not un-installing...
    please help this computer illiterate!!!!

    You don't see nothing there in reference to "SpywareBlaster" ?

    Since you already asked about this problem in another thread, it is best not to post about the same problem again somewhere else. The things you've already done make it more complicated then just how to unistall SpywareBlaster (the restore point used, the install attempts of v3.0, etc.)
