    From Dmitry from Greatis software:

"Today we released UnHackMe 2.0 beta.
    - Added detection and removal of AFX Rootkit and Vanquish Rootkit.
    - UnHackMe monitor.
    - Changed evaluation:
Now UnHackMe is 30 days evaluation version.
Evalution version is fully functional for 30 days.
After that it will work but it asks for registering.

    Download:
    http://www.greatis.com/unhackme.zip

UnHackMe 2 is free for registered users.
New registration codes we will send after final release.
You can install new version over previous.

    Best wishes,
    Dmitry"

    Hope this helps,

    Chris

Hopefully one of the nice mods will move this to other anti-trojan software since I placed it here by total brain dead moment :)

    Thanks,

    Chris

Sure?? If so... I'll give it a shot. If it cripples after 30 days... I'll get you good Chris... LOL :D

    Hi,

Just wanted to give you some feedback. I tried out UnHackme and it did give me an alert, which appeared to be a false positive. I sent a copy of the report to Greatis but never received a reply - it has been over a week. It seems like a reasonable product but I decided to uninstall it until the support is sufficient to acknowledge emails.

Support for this type of program is essential . A week is a long time to wait and get nothing . I think I will stay away . Thanks Rich

I paid for the original version. I downloaded the 2.0 version and it keeps popping up a window wanting to be registered. I tried putting in the original key and that didn't work. Had to shut down the Unhackme.exe. I tried E Mailing their support and they kept getting returned.

Let me try to answer a few at one time.

Registered users of Unhackme will be issued new keys for Unhackme 2 when Unhackme 2 final is released. Unhackme 2 should still function even after the 30 day trial but will have nag screens.

What email address are you sending your support requests too?

Please look at the regrun forum http://www.greatissoftware.com/forums/ . If this happens again please post here and as you can see by looking at the threads there support is pretty fast or at least I like to think so ;) .

I agree. But this maybe is not overall an issue. Dmitry is usuallly very good responding to support requests. Again if you have emailed support or need support currently please visit http://www.greatissoftware.com/forums/ and I assure you that you will get help.

    I hope this helps,

    Chris

This may well have been addressed before.
