Understanding the MBR Question

    I am trying to understand the MBR question. Am I correct that if my operating system is on my C: partition and the partition is corrupted for some reason, that restoring the C: image Windows XP will boot since the MBR is not changed?

    Hello Rod,

    Provided the MBR has not also been corrupted then, in my experience, the answer is yes. However, Acronis Support may wish to qualify my statement.
