Undelete Outlook email messages

Someone I know setup a POP3 email account in Outlook 2007 on a new PC. She accesses the email in this account from multiple computers and normally the "leave a copy on server" option is enabled. This time she forgot to enable it, emptied the "deleted items" folder and lost a bunch of deleted messages she was saving on the server. I'm hoping there's a way to get them back, but so far I'm not seeing it. Suggestions appreciated

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this solution only works when Exchange Server is being used and it isn't in this case.

 

Victek, this just may work on a non-Exchange based system (PST file)...

What you're basically doing is copying your PST file (for the work), breaking it, then using a Windows repair facility to unbreak it... this should make all the emails still in there, visible.
