Unble to Edit Firefox preferences

    When I go to Tools, Options, aboutpreferences everything in the Preferences is frozen and im unable to edit anything. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

    In the address field, type "about:config". (without the quotes of course)

    have you tried changing your theme in firefox.I have experienced the preferences page not functioning correctly when certain themes were installed.
