does anyone know why this can be shut down via taskmanager even when it is password locked down?
Perhaps there are some rights/admistration settings in Windows to prevent some category of users (not administrators) to do that ?
perhaps look n stop could usea better hook?
There is currently no special hook for that.
You can use the "Internet Filtering persistent" mode (Advanced option) so if Look 'n' Stop is killed, the Internet Filtering will still be enabled.
On the application filtering, there is not yet the same option.
