unable to update after installing Spywareblaster

    I have downloaded and installed Spywareblaster on a computer with Win XP of a friend. After installing is it impossible to update. I even had un- and installed the program several times.
    The bar (determing of updates is available) is full but then it stops.
    What caused it?
