So I do not know if this the right forum or not but I am having a problem with running a virus scan. Every time I try to run a scan it stops at either 33 percent or 54 percent. I tried leaving the computer on over night to run a scan and still the same results. I am not really good with computers so any help or advice would be great!

It is NOD 32 version 4 I believe. The whole anti virus program was installed and set up by nerds onsite. The on-demand scan was set programmed by them and does an in depth scan. I tried asking them for help but they said try the internet.

How to determine your installed version

Sounds to me, opinion, you should seek better support options from here forward based on the horror-show you encountered. :cautious:

Wilders *is* the official support site for ESET products, should you have further queries, feel free to add to this post.

    Thank you.

I'd suggest enabling logging of all scanned files for the the on-demand scanner profile used for the scan. This way you will see the last file scanned and thus narrow it to down to the problematic file / folder. Scan that folder to find out if the scan gets stuck again.

So I have version 4.0.474.0. Do you think that since I do not have the latest version that it could be affecting my computer scan?

Looking over the last scan I did it seems to get stuck when it is scanning NOD32.

Generally speaking, best update to the latest version.
