I loaded the trial version of Look n Stop
on my test box a few days ago, and liked
    it!
The only problem I had, was that I was unable
to make a VPN connection. I downloaded the
IP47.rie file, but I still could not connect.
After shutting down the firewall, I had no
problem making the VPN connection. After
about a hour of messing around with LnS,
    I un-installed it.

Anyone have any ideas? I liked LnS alot,
and I want to give it another shot, if I can
get it to allow me to make my VPN connection.

    Hi,

Normally the log should indicate what kind of packets were blocked. With this information it should be possible to create some rules.

You should also check the problem is really coming from the internet filtering and not the application filtering. To do that simply deactivate one of the filtering to verify if the problem is still there or not.

Some VPN access uses IP 50 and not IP 47. Also sometimes specific UDP ports have to be allowed additionally.

    Thanks for the reply,Frederic.

I was starting to think I was
not going to get any help with
    this.

    When I get a chance, I will
reload LnS and see if I can
    get the VPN to connect.If
not, I will post back with
    more information.
