Unable to install 4.2

Hi,

I'm trying to install SpywareBlaster 4.2, but when I tried installing, an error message stating that I was missing a file showed up.

This was the error message:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\MSSTDFMT.DLL
Unable to register the DLL\OCX: CreateProcess failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed anyway (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation

Recently, I had to fix a log on/log off loop problem in Windows XP as my computer was infected with various viruses and other related problems. I'm currently in the process of trying to fix these problems with programs such as Avast!, Spybot, etc.

I don't have much experience in treating viruses and other related problems. I also don't have much experience with anti-virus programs, anti-spyware programs, etc. I don't know much about the inner details about computers as well.
