    UltraDefrag is a powerful Open Source Defragmentation tool for the Windows Platform. It can defragment any system files including

    • Compatibility with some boot loaders and disk encryption software added, see Change Log for the full list.
    • Crash handling was added to GUI interface, so crash information can be easily submitted.
    • The progress indicator should now never exceed 100% in any case.
    • It is now possible to change the background (free-space) color of the cluster map to support dark themes.

    Thanks, using it now. However, I have yet to figure out how to change the background color per "• It is now possible to change the background (free-space) color of the cluster map to support dark themes."

    I did a custom install, and only installed the UI and boot modules and not the console. I wonder if that's why I don't see any way to change the color on my setup...............Anyone figure it out?

    im currently using auslogics defragger.
    I dont like the way it tries to persuade me to download a registry and diskcleaner.
    How does ultradefrag compare with auslogics.?
    Is there sustainable evidence of its usefulness.?
    Lastly is it a free program.?

    im also curious about this defrager as well looking at it now. b1770 just dont bother buying the pro auslogics if you ever expect any updates. i made that mistake and fool me once....okay wait i saw a boot time defrag on the web site but dont see one now? is that only for windows xp? maybe i have a corrupt install not sure.

    Thanks for the update. This is 1 of my preferred defrag tool. Anyway, I thought some might find this interesting...

    Bugger it,ive uninstalled auslogics defragger and ive installed o&o defrag free and appears to be running just lovely.
