    One other thing.....

XP-AntiSpy released version 3.9.1 on September 1st. This release gives you the ability to turn off the security center, disable firewall, etc. all in one fell swoop. Most of us already monitor these things and don't need all of the alerts and hand-holding. However, for those who find this whole "security thing" foreign and a pain - this SP2 is just a great piece of work by Microsoft. It's nice to be able to praise Microsoft for something every blue moon. They spent their money well this time and it greatly enhances security for the average user - as long as they run everything at the default levels (which most will). For those of us who watch all of these things constantly, SP2 gives us some nice new features. There have been reports of increased performance with SP2 and I think that is certainly true on my box.

The new release of XP-AntiSpy (3.9.1) can be found here in multiple languages:

    Have fun!
