i use a well known p2p file sharing programme and of late my system has been taken down a couple of times by UDP attacks. does anyone have any links or progs for preventing this? (and a prog for doing it as well would be useful!! :D )

    Thanks in anticipation,

    dex

    Hi dexter472

... and welcome to Wilders :)

Can you provide some more details on what you experienced? Any Logs?
A little more about your current set-up would help and are you running a firewall?

    Regards,

    CrazyM

Just how is it you are being forced off line and why do you feel it is a UDP attack?

    Regards,
