Ubuntu....and NOD32?

    I have recently installed Ubuntu, which now dual boots with Windows XP on this machine. The computer is connected to a small network comprising of 3 other computers, all running XP, all with anti-virus software. Is it necessary to run antivirus software whilst using Ubuntu...?

    not really. linux AV scanners usually scan for windows viruses anyways. some companies do offer free on-demand AV for linux tho.
