  1. Is it just me or is there a major serious bug in this release?

LXAppearance: claims to apply your theme settings, but never does; your theme stays stuck on the default.

Chromium: claims to apply your browser settings, but never does. For instance, if you set it to use click-to-play for plugins, then close it and launch it again, plugins will once again be fully enabled.

Xfce: claims to save your settings, but never does. Set the default browser, click the browser icon, and it will ask you to set the default browser again.

Xfce terminal at least saves its font size, and the appearance settings in Xfce work. Not sure what else doesn't work, as far as preferences and settings are concerned. The common denominator seems to be that the offending programs all use GTK2, not Qt or GTK3.

Can anyone confirm this? And are there any workarounds? I've been Googling but I've yet to find anything.
