    Hi,
Ubuntu 11.10 is already posted on some sites....

    http://releases.ubuntu.com/11.10/

though it's not official as of now. So, if you want to get a jump on everyone else and avoid the server slowdown that's bound to occur then now is your chance.

FYI, it's the same as the last daily build released yesterday (at least according to the checksums) which is what I have....

    http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/

I've been zsyncing the 32bit and 64bit Ubuntu as well as the 32bit Kubuntu for the last number of days.

    Later...

Finally someone isn't senselessly bashing Unity. It's the first UI I've found bearable other than Windows 7's. It just crashed a ton in 11.04.

I installed 11.04 on a old laptop, works absolutely great. I had a bad experience while using it on my newer laptop, but I guess that was mostly because of driver problems. I'm upgrading now to 11.10. You can try 11.10 here: http://www.ubuntu.com/tour/ (you need HTML5)... really epic if I may say ;)

I installed the RC which I downloaded yesterday so far so good except that Opera is a no go sadly. The new kernel runs my CPU cooler by few degrees. VLC now works with VAAPI as long as AMD driver is installed, just install the xvba-va driver from the repos along with vlc.
