Interesting. I was recommending people Bluhell Firewall (although gorhill wouldn't) since it seemed to work, but now there is a definite recommendation.

As per information at this link, it is supported from firefox 29 onwards. So, palemoon is of old code base, it might not support. You can ask question at github.
Also, did you checked extenstion compatibilty off and see if it works...

    Link ?
From what I've seen, Gorhill is not responsible of µBlock for Firefox ("Deathamns" is), and I did not read he had plans for a Firefox µMatrix.

Yes, I think Deathamns is responsible. This is the post made me believe it might be en route...

    git clone https://github.com/Deathamns/uBlock

    cd uBlock

    git checkout ports/xpi

    sh tools/make-firefox.sh

    cd dist/build/uBlock_xpi/

    zip uBlock.xpi -r *

    OR

    https://i.revthefox.co.uk/uBlock.xpi

That .xpi gets built from source every 6 hours and auto-uploaded to the guys site by a script.

Can you add the filters for Facbeook Annoyances Blocker that ABP has which basically blocks the right pane of Facebook's recommended pages which are full of ads?
