Just two questions about XP Home.

1- Is it safe to delete folder 1386 from my C drive?

2- Is there a way to put a time limit for baloon alerts from tray area so that the baloon will disappera on its own after a specific time, say 5 seconds. I have to close the baloons manually most of time.

    Thanks

i386 in the root of your C: drive is probably a copy of installation media that was put there by the manufacturer. If you have a XP Home installation CD, then you can delete it. If you don't have a CD, that folder contains the data that will be needed for installing certain drivers, and other window components. I would probably leave it there just to be on the safe side, and for convienece.

Thanks. I was guessing so. As I have recovery CD, so no problem to delete it.
    Thanks.
