    Can anyone help?
I am trying to renew licence on my Nod, but everytime I hit login a windows box appears to tell me "Licence Username is not the correct format".
I am copying and pasting from my emailed copy of the licence, I have tried typing it in instead and also changing the letters from upper to lower case but nothing works.

Is my only way around this to wait until licence expires and start a new account from scratch? (which I know won't be difficult, just a PITA)

Does anybody know how to get around this silly windows box?

    Thanks in advance.
    :)

Here is the naming scheme for the license information :

    Username: EAV-12345678 or AV-1234567
    Password: 2nwac4wfne
    Expiration: Tuesday, April 13, 2009

-The username and password are case sensitive and the hyphen in the username is required
-The password is ten characters long and lowercase
-When copying and pasting, make sure you do not select an extra blank space
-We do not use the letter "L" in passwords, use the number one (1) instead
-A big "0" is the number zero, a small "o" is the lowercase letter o

You can also PM your user name and I can verify for you.

Today is 4/24/09 and my license probably expired on 4/17/09. My username and password are not workingeven though ESET sent me exactly the same username and password that typed to log in with (also did the cut/past routine with no success). But, I keep getting msg that my username and/or password are bad. In some of the postings it states that if the license expired - username and password will not work. Isn't there a grace period? I am a week late for renewing.... Does ESET sometimes have problems with its username and passowords not working and if so - how does one address the problem? Your input is appreciated. Thanks.

It takes 24 hours for renewals to take effect if you let it expire!

Excellent automation :( So That Is what my issue has been all morning. If I had honestly known this along with the fact that my next renewal will be end of Jan. 2010. I would have just purchased Smart Security. I did not, as for people wanting to upgrade, they have to call, and of course the day that everyone can actually catch up on their computer time is on the weekends. When the working world take a small nap :)

Well, There are some other "free" AV's now sounds like a great time to try them out while I am waiting for my renewal 24 hour countdown. Or I could just print out all of my color swatches and start color profiling them :argh:

Best of luck all! Lets fire this puppy up and see what they got fixed from all that feedback!

    Best regards,
    Tom
