    Hi,

we are using TI Server for Linux 8.0.946 on a Debian 3.1 (Ubuntu 5.04) Server. Everything worked well till last friday. We use TI as a desaster recovery (only backing up / and /boot). Data is saved with TSM.

Since last friday our image has grown from 1.5 GB to 6 GB!!! and we don't know why. So I wanted to see what has been backup up. When I try to mount the image I get the following error:

    root@server:~ # trueimagemnt -m /mnt/ -f /export/tws/image.tib -i 2
    Mount error.
    root@server:~ #

    The index is correct:

    root@server:~ # trueimagecmd --list --filename:/export/tws/image.tib
Num Idx Partition Flags Start Size Type
    ---- --- -------------------- ----------- ---------- ---------- -----------
    Disk 1:
    1-1 2 sda1 (/boot) Pri,Act 63 192717 Ext3
    root@server:~ #

When I check the image, everything is fine.

    Any idea?

Hmmm...it seems to be a problem with the superblock of the partition.

We have installed a RAID device but save the partition over the normal "sd" device. Therefore we are recovering the image via several circumstances. I think this is the problem.

    Ok.

Another question. Somebody knows what version of TI will support RAID devices (backup and restore!!!)?
