I have TrueImage Server 7.0 build 638 for Windows running on a Windows 2000 Server. The system and data drives are on one physical drive. I've added another physical disk and would like to move the data drive E: to the new disk. The server is part of a domain. Do I need to image the E: drive to another server then reboot with TrueImage server CD and then install the E: image over to the new disk?
Does this sound correct? Is there anything strange about doing this on an Active Directory server?
    Carlton.

    Hello cwhitmore,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

The procedure you have described is quite right. Also you may restore the created image under Windows. Depending on the type of data Acronis True Image may ask you to reboot. In this case it will boot Acronis loader, perform the operation, and reboot into Windows again. However according to your description it seems to me that you won't need to reboot your system.

    Thank you.
