TrueCrypt encrypted partition defrag

    I noticed that PerfectDisk cannot defrag a TrueCrypt encrypted partition. Does defragging make that big of difference? Will not defragging make the partition real slow when reading and writing information to it?

    Yes, the defragmentation tool cannot access the non-system partitions encrypted at boot time.
    Puran Defrag also fails.
    You need to use only the in-Windows defragmentation.
