    I look forward to seeing the results. I hope the audit can be used to improve other encryption applications that are based off of TrueCrypt. It would be great if some other developers were able to continue TC's development, but that would also be up to the license used by TC.

    Well, there is VeraCrypt, which is based on TC and the developer did his own audit at one point.

    The one thing about TC that should change is the license, the original developers abandoned it completely, so anyone should be able to change the license to something new like GPLv2, etc.........................
